Let’s hear it for the boys
A couple of weeks ago we had our big gender reveal and you, my blog friends, are officially the last to know. (Unless I somehow left out a family member, friend or co-worker, that is. And if that is the case, I blame it on pregnancy brain!)
Don’t you feel special?
In case the post title didn’t give it away, Ike is going to have a little brother! Apparently it’s all boys for this family and I’m outnumbered four to one (if you count our dog, Frankie).

My pregnancy has been identical to my first, so I shouldn’t have been surprised that it was another boy, but I kind of was. I helped myself get over the shock by envisioning weekend afternoons several years down the road when Chris will take the boys off for golfing, baseball or some other boy activity and I’ll have blissful time to myself for baking, crafting, blogging and relaxing… Or, let’s be real, doing laundry and dishes and grocery shopping for little boy appetites.
Either way, we consider ourselves to be beyond lucky. And, I can’t wait to introduce you all to the new little guy in just 15 short weeks (gulp).
With visions of blue,

Yay!! So happy for you guys and can’t believe you’re practically in the last trimester! Doesn’t it just fly by the second time around? Will the boys be sharing a room or do you have something different up your sleeve?
So exciting! We won’t find out Sprout’s sex for another 4 weeks, but I’m starting to get really antsy…..we were surprised with Riley (hubbie’s idea) but this time I need to KNOW. Hope you’re feeling good these days!
Congratulations!! Boys are so fun
Yay. I’m so happy for you. Two perfect boys.
Congrats, Erin! I have two boys here too. My oldest is 2 1/2 tomorrow and the little one was 4 months yesterday. We plan on having another (in a couple years or more) but I won’t get my hopes up that it will be a girl
I love my boys though and am excited to see them play and grow up together as brothers.
congratulations!! little boys are heaven!
