Big shoes to fill
File this post under the category of “just too cute not to share.” Ike has taken to trying on all different sizes of shoes. On Tuesday, he had on three different pairs all in a matter of hours.
Exhibit A: Aunt Holly’s shoes after breakfast…wrong feet and all!
Exhibit B: Momma’s shoes at the beach. (He purposefully filled my shoes with sand only moments later.)
Exhibit C: Daddy’s shoes after nap time…
If only he could learn to tie them on his own…

So stinkin’ cute! What is it with kids and our shoes, anyway? My boy is obsessed with my shoes – flip-flops and platform sandals especially (bonus if they’re shiny metallic). I think it’s because they make a loud noise when he walks, but I’m worried he’s gonna turn an ankle one of these days!
