I have the Domino book myself and I love it. I'll have to put this Food Lovers Companion on my wish list, looks like a great reference!

I just recently got Domino too. Love it! I was contemplating a few different books and I'm so glad I chose this one.

I've been meaning to buy Domino but I keep putting it off because we're in a small rental and I'm limited on the things I can do to "beautify my space."

I love reference books to, especially old ones. The classic, detailed micromanagement of a '50's homekeeping or home entertaining book can keep me occupied for hours. I have quite a few, and I'm about a block away from the largest library in the state and they have a whole dusty forgotten section of old cookbooks.
